Fortune's hermetic knowledge shines through in this volume despite any direct reference to it. The book was clearly written for a christian audience, yet there are undertones of the Western Mystery Tradition throughout the work.

The book is under 100 pages, and is a swift read, even with a new introduction by Gary Leon Hill, author of "People Who Don't Know They're Dead". I would recommend this book to anyone (since death comes for us all, eventually), but most especially to those who have loved ones approaching their end of days. It will provide comfort to both the dying and those they leave behind.
