Don't see this as a review of this book, rather just an announcement that it is our there if you want it. Albert Churchward was a somewhat unpopular individual in his time. Although clearly brilliant in many respects, his ideas on the origins of Freemasonry, the age of mankind and his interpretation of the symbology of ancient egypt was frequently speculative and ruffled more than a few feathers within Academic circles, the ranks of the Golden Dawn and with his beloved Masonic community.
Nevertheless, his Arcana of Freemasonry has some merit, and interest to those studying the origins of masonic lodges and Ceremonial Magic. Not so much in what it contains directly, but for the clues and trains of thought it may lead you to.
This new edition contains a sympathetic introduction by R. A. Gilbert, but is in all other respects preserved intact. Inside you will find Churchward's speculations on the Stellar Cult, the Pentagram and the Hermetic Cross.
As I said earlier, this isn't really a review. Many of you won't need this book.
But if you do, it has been re-released by Weiser Books, so you should be able to get your hands on it fairly easily now if you've been after it for a while.
