This book, is in fact a kit for praying. It includes the book, a journal and prayer papers. To use this kit, start by focusing on your prayers and writing down whatever comes to mind in your prayer journal. After meditating on the intent behind what you've drafted, find the heart of your prayer and write it in finished form on a piece of prayer paper. Then you can keep them, burn them, offer them up - whatever approach works for you for getting your message across to deity.
The book contains information on why we pray and how to do it, and how to create your own unique prayer practice.
This book could not, by any stretch of the imagination be said to be Pagan, but it does fall into that grey area between christianity and paganism where all faiths are accepted and respected.
Given that two thirds of the package is blank paper, either in the form of prayer sheets or the prayer journal, I think that the cover price of $24.95 is a little over the top, but nevertheless it would make a nice gift for a religious, yet non-pagan family member.
