This is a small, handy and essential reference for understanding symbolic meaning in scriptures, mythology, emblems, art design and ritual from around the world and throughout time.
It reminds me a little of a dream interpretation book, and could probably be used quite effectively for this purpose also. The only complaint I had with the book was the layout seemed a little hard to grasp when searching for reference information, but fortunately the index is complete and works just us well. Definitely a handy book to have in the shelf.
