  • Minoan Brotherhood
The Minoan brotherhood was established in New York by the late Eddie Buczynski (Lord Gwydion ) in the middle 1970s. The Brotherhood remains exclusively a venue for gay men to explore traditional ritual witchcraft, and aims to recognize each brother's inherent divinity.

Buczynski a Gardnerian initiate, and the rituals of the Brotherhood are primarily on those of the Gardnerian Tradition, although changes to have been made to accomodate both a different core mythology and ritual custom. The deities worshipped are those of Ancient Crete and Mycenae: The Great Mother of all Living, and Her Divine Son (the Starry One), and his consort, the Earth-Shaker. In most other respects, the traditional is very similar to British Traditional Wicca. Consequently, covens tend to be secretive.

Membership is by initiation, and lineage is maintained back to Lord Gwydion. There are three degrees of initiation, after the third of which the individual is qualified to go out and start a new coven or grove.

Meetings are held at the Full Moon and at Sabbats, and are traditionally skyclad. Rituals are performed in covens, in couples or alone.
